Project Overview: North Bangkok 2 – 850MW Power Plant covers an area of 60 rai next to EGAT Head Quarters in Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province. It is a singled shaft combined cycle power plant which depends on the cooperative work of gas turbine, steam turbine, and generator. It uses natural gas supplied from 2 sources namely Myanmar (western side) and the Gulf of Thailand (eastern side) and will use LNG in the future. Its combustion system is efficient, which can reduce fuel use, nitrogen oxide, and emission from combustion process better than regulated standard.

Hamon-B.Grimm supplied plume abated (hybrid) Cooling tower in back to back arrangement configuration. This is first plume abated cooling tower in Thailand. When cooling tower are in operation, the plume from fanstack can be invisible plume due to perfect of air mixing inside cooling tower. This is our knowhow and one of remarkable project for Hamon-B.Grimm in Thailand
